‘A Year, Written Off’ documents a year of my life during the global pandemic. This time marks a key transition for me, moving back to my hometown of Canterbury, Kent, from the city I had called home for almost four years. I studied, graduated, lived and worked in Leeds, Yorkshire.
Highlighting the true beauty of our nature as human beings as, although things appeared bleak, we were able to band together and enjoy some truly special and unique moments throughout the seemingly endless mundane.
With that in mind, this publication will pick a few key moments from the historic year of 2020, and challenge the idea that 2020 was a write off, or a scrapped year. Proving that with the right people around you, things aren’t as bad as they may seem.
2020 - the year the world stood still.
