Handcrafts provides a walking exhibition that sees the user traverse through the ruins of the castle through a series of structures that provides them with a
sensory exhibition of the passing of time.
 

The users will not only traverse the timeline of the families, in their chronological order, but they will gain a sense of what these families contributed to the village
of Middleham through the conjunction of hologram projections and environmental manipulation which best suits that space programmatically.

By celebrating the families histories we liberate the users from the overarching narrative that the castle is the focal point of their history, by highlighting that in fact the villagers themselves are the foundations upon which the castle stand.
